Happy Birthday!

Having a wonderful 48th Birthday today! Enjoying the simple things....sunshine, fresh air, stitching....and a little bit of shopping at Target. After all... a gal "needs" a new bottle of nail polish on her Birthday... next up is a local car show... turkey club sandwich for dinner...maybe a scoop of homemade ice cream... yum! :-)

I've finished a few more blocks for the Fig Tree Autumn Splendor Mystery Quilt... 2 variations of Block 2...and 2 variations of Block 3...

Would be nice if my lighting was consistent... but, you get the idea...

Also, a vignette of some patriotic stitches...

More blocks and Birthday celebrations to follow...

Until next time...stay healthy & keep on smiling!

~Sharon

  7. Sounds like you made it a good day!
Your blocks are very pretty. Love those fresh colors with a little bit of dark thrown in to give it depth and make the colors pop.
Sweet vignette. I got so little of my patriotic stuff out this year. Wasn't home long enough to enjoy it anyway, but I enjoy seeing yours. :)

  13. Belated Happy Birthday wishes, Sharon, from a first time visitor who saw you comment on a fellow blogger’s site and was curious about the your blog name of Moosecraft. I wondered if you lived in New England as we do now and then learned that you live in NJ as both my husband and I did...we are both NJ natives and I spent my chilhood and years after in central Jersey while he was more in the shore area😊 I enjoyed reading some older posts about your crafts which are lovely. And the 1967 Buick is a classic for sure, as station wagons were forerunners of SUVs. We recently saw a few station wagon models at a July 4th auto show in Nashua. Pleas feel free to stop and visit our blog anytime. Even though I no longer live in NJ, I am still a Jersey girl at heart💜

  16. These are beautiful! We gift quilts on baby showers like I got one last year on my baby shower party that was held at one of the best event halls for rent and it was made by my sister. It was a surprise party. Anyways, it was lovely coming across this post. Happy birthday to you! I started with stitching long back ago but don’t get much time now.
