Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas Tree!

It's been in our home for about two weeks now and still smells wonderful! Sometimes I toy with the idea of an artificial tree (since it's convenient and doesn't need to be watered)... but, each year we head out into the cold and drive from tree lot to tree lot (this year was 4 lots) to find the "perfect" tree... and once the fresh cut is made (thanks to my hubby) and the tree is standing in the warmth of our home (a team effort)... the aroma is just soooooo PEACEFUL! There's no other way to describe it... a deep breath of Christmas evergreens just simply calms every nerve... and makes all the efforts worth it! :-)

So... after 600 lights... a few boxes of vintage shiny brites... a smattering of Hallmark car and radio ornaments... a single german glass sewing machine ornament and a beaded snowflake or two... this 5 ft fir is the centerpiece of our home this Christmas Season!!!

Wishing everyone a very Blessed and Merry Christmas!!!

Until next time... stay healthy & keep on smiling!
