Snow Days Blocks 9, 10 and 11

And yet again... it snowed. This morning we awoke to an additional 4" of the fresh, fluffy white stuff... however... TODAY's difference is that the sun shined brightly and the temperature warmed to 42 degrees (F)... ahhhhhh.... and the forecast for the next 4 days is increasing temps until we reach a gorgeous 55 degrees (F) with sunshine this coming Saturday!!! Nothing like the sound of melting snow to put a Spring in my step!

And some zing in my sewing machine too! lol! ;-)

Here is Block 9...
Block 10...
Block 11...

Just 3 more Blocks to go folks... and then it is assembly time! :-)

  1. I can't tell from my computer screen - what color thread are you using on the embroidery - all one color? it sure is pretty - I just might have to buy that pattern thanks for the link the other day

  2. We got snow most of the day, then it turned to rain.
I love how the blocks look with the stitchery, gorgeous quilt.

  3. It is fun to watch your progress on this quilt! The soft colors are very appealing... can't wait to see more!
Forecast for central Iowa... blizzard watch starting Thursday morning... oh joy...

  4. It's looking awesome.... You must be working at it all day and night. You've got a lot done. We are also expecting some snow and warmer temperatures. Bring on Spring like temperatures.

  5. Ooh, I love the block with the little bunny. But please, next winter work on summer projects. Heehee

  6. Three more blocks remaining - music to your ears. Eager to see the assembly. I know it is going to be 'over the top' lovely.
We have a regular HEAT WAVE coming here to PA !!! Yay ;)

  7. It is beautiful Sharon and only three more blocks? I am so excited it really is such a wonderful piece of work that you have done.
