Nuthin' I'd Rather Do...

...on a 90 degree swampy humid day... than cover my legs with wool while I pull some loops! LOL! All kidding aside, this rug has become quite an obsession for me lately. I think that once I get more than half way through completing a rug, pulling loops starts to get more relaxing. Maybe it's because  my mind has already colored planned the remaining areas...

Wishing you cool creative thoughts all day today... :-)

  1. Oh, your rug is lookin' good!!! How big is it?
Tomorrow your weather should be drastically different. It was about 90 in Ohio yesterday and today it is about 60 ~ from one extreme to another.
    Pug hugs :)

  8. Can't wait to see this one finished!! What I love about your rug is not on the colors you used for the leaves, but also the different colors in your background. Awesome!!! Beautiful choice of colors :) I see some antique black, brown and blue for the background. Is that was is going to be carried through the rest of the rug, or do you have another color in mind as well? Would love to know how you came about deciding your colors for this rug. Inquiring minds want to know (me!), and would love to have a post about it :).

  9. I love the rug, Sharon! The colors are simply beautiful! I know what you mean about the heat. I am so tired of having the AC on and the windows shut. Last night, we finally had nice, cool fall-like weather and today it has been beautiful! Have fun hooking. We will all be anxiously awaiting to see the finished product!

  14. What a lovely rug, is this an original design? I love the color palette. Yesterday here in Southern Maine the temperature was in the 80's and today 50's, hope it becomes cooler in your neck of the woods!
